I think this is lovely, was your ''homework'' to be in Sepia/grey or was that your choice? I do like it. So how do you feel about water colour now? xxx yokes
To be honest this is actually a value study in 'Burnt Sienna', Sepia just sounds better, lol. I was actually supposed to do it in two Complementary colours but I thought I would ease myself in by doing what Adrienne suggested and start with one. I'm not a week ahead anymore but that's fine. I'm going to focus on drawing the first page layout now and do that in two colours.

ReplyDeleteWicked, I love it!
ReplyDeleteAaw, thanks Karien! :D
ReplyDeleteGlad the single color study is paying off. Give credit to Murillo and Goya. Value studies certainly worked for them! :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for suggesting it Adrienne, it reallly helped. I'm still wrestling with my Duotone but should be finished by tomorrow. Hopefully!
ReplyDeleteLooking good!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Laurie! :D
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! The single color gives it so much mystery and emotion. I really love it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Samantha, that's so kind of you to say...
